WELCOME TO THE GROWN-UP CORNER

Goodness Grove is designed to give children little moments of wonder, kindness, faith, and adventure—but the magic grows even more when a grown-up joins them along the way.

Here you'll find simple ideas to help you talk about each month's theme, encourage your child's creativity, and turn everyday moments into opportunities to grow in kindness and faith.

​

No special preparation required. Just a few minutes, an open heart, and a willingness to explore together.

ASK. LISTEN. EXPLORE.

  • What was your favorite part?

  • What did you discover?

  • How did this make you feel?

  • What do you think this story teaches us?

  • What would you do if you were the character?

  • Who could you share this idea with?

  • What is one thing you could try this week?


There's no right or wrong answer. Let your child lead the conversation!

GROW GOODNESS EVERYDAY

Simple ideas for turning the lessons into everyday actions.  Kindness doesn't have to be complicated. Look for little opportunities to help, share, encourage, forgive, include, thank, and love others.

Then perhaps a small list:

Try this today:

  • Say something encouraging.

  • Help someone without being asked.

  • Share something you have.

  • Thank someone.

  • Include someone who may feel left out.

  • Do something kind when no one is watching.

FAITH & FAMILY

Faith grows through everyday moments. Use the Bible verses and faith-filled messages in your child's Goodness Grove mailings as an opportunity to talk about God's love, kindness, gratitude, courage, and serving others.

Then:

Try asking:
"What do you think God wants us to learn from this?"

​

And:

Pray together:
Invite your child to say a simple prayer in their own words.

SHARE THE ADVENTURE

Goodness Grove is meant to be shared! We love hearing what our Goodness Grove friends are creating, listening to, and doing.

 

Has your child created something they’re proud of? Discovered a song they love? Or done something kind that made a difference?  We want to hear about it!

Their submission may become part of the Goodness Grove community and could inspire other children to create, listen, and spread a little more goodness of their own.

​

🎨 Share Your Artwork

Your child's imagination could become part of the Goodness Grove adventure! Submit their artwork for a chance to be featured on a future postcard, product, website, social media post, or other Goodness Grove project.

​

🎵 Share a Favorite Song

Every Goodness Grove friend has a song they love! Tell us about your child's favorite song and why they enjoy it. Their recommendation could be added to our Goodness Grove playlist and help fill the Grove with music, joy, and inspiration.

🌱 Share Your Goodness

Kindness comes in all shapes and sizes. Tell us about a time your child helped, encouraged, shared, included, or simply did something kind for someone else. Their story could inspire another child and may be featured in a Goodness Grove letter, video, blog, podcast, or social media post.

🌟 Your Story Could Inspire Someone Else

Every child has something special to share. A drawing can spark imagination. A song can bring joy. A kind act can inspire another kind act.

That's how goodness grows—when we share it!
